Products & Specifications

What types of packaging do you manufacture?

We specialize in precision injection-molded plastic packaging, including:

  • Snus cans — slim round, tall round, flat round, single-layer round
  • Nicotine pouch cans — standard double-opening, single-opening, three-opening, flip-top (D-style, V-style)

  • Custom OEM/ODM packaging — tailored to your specifications

We currently offer 12 standard models and can develop custom molds for unique designs.

What materials do you use?

Our primary material is PP (Polypropylene), which is food-grade safe and widely used in the tobacco and food packaging industries. We also work with HDPE and bio-based / biodegradable materials upon request.

All materials are certified to meet FDA 21 CFR 177 food contact requirements and comply with relevant international food safety standards.

What color and customization options are available?

Standard colors include white, black, transparent, and semi-transparent. We also support Pantone color matching for brand-specific requirements.

Additional customization options:

  • Logo embossing and debossing
  • In-Mold Labeling (IML)
  • Custom surface textures
  • Custom dimensions and structural modifications
What is the typical weight tolerance?

Our standard weight tolerance across all product models is ±0.3g, maintained through automated injection molding with inline quality monitoring.

Certifications & Compliance

What certifications does CQ Snus Can hold?
  • ISO 13485 — Medical Device Quality Management System
  • ISO 9001 — Quality Management System
  • ISO 14001:2015 — Environmental Management System
  • ISO 45001:2018 — Occupational Health and Safety
  • ISO 8317:2015 — Child-Resistant Packaging
  • US 16 CFR 1700.15 & 1700.20 — Child-Resistant Packaging (US standard)
  • FDA TPMF — Tobacco Pre-Market Filing
  • FDA 21 CFR 177 — Food Contact Material Compliance
  • Food Packaging Production License — Chinese national license
  • HALAL — Available upon request
Are your products child-resistant certified?

Yes. Our child-resistant product line is tested and certified to both ISO 8317:2015 (international standard) and US 16 CFR 1700.15 & 1700.20 (US CPSC standard). These certifications are required by many markets for nicotine pouch and snus packaging.

Why does a snus can manufacturer need ISO 13485 (medical device certification)?

Our ISO 13485 medical device quality management system reflects the highest standard of manufacturing control. While snus cans are not medical devices, operating under medical-grade quality systems means:

  • Stricter incoming material inspection
  • More rigorous process control and documentation
  • Full batch traceability
  • GMP Class 100,000 cleanroom production environment

This is our core differentiator: medical-grade capability applied to food-contact packaging — giving our customers a higher level of quality assurance than typical packaging suppliers can offer.

Can you provide HALAL certification?

Yes. We hold a valid HALAL certificate issued by JAKIM, available for customers who require HALAL-compliant packaging for Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian markets.

Manufacturing & Capabilities

What manufacturing services do you offer?

We provide a full one-stop manufacturing service:

  1. Product Design — requirement review, structural design, DFM analysis
  2. 3D Sampling — rapid prototyping and sample validation
  3. Mold Development — in-house precision mold design and CNC manufacturing
  4. Injection Molding — automated production in GMP cleanroom
  5. Quality Control — inline inspection, batch testing, full traceability
  6. Packaging & Delivery — export packing and global logistics
What is your production environment?

All snus cans and nicotine pouch containers are manufactured in our GMP Class 100,000 (ISO Class 8) cleanroom. This is the same standard used in pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing, ensuring:

  • Controlled particulate environment
  • Temperature and humidity regulation
  • Contamination-free production
  • Compliance with food-grade and medical-grade hygiene requirements
Do you develop molds in-house?

Yes. We have a complete in-house mold engineering department with CNC machining, EDM processing, and precision assembly capabilities. This means:

  • Faster development cycles (no outsourcing delays)
  • Direct communication between mold engineers and production
  • Rapid mold modifications and optimization
  • Full IP protection for custom designs

Ordering & Logistics

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our standard MOQ is 10,000 pieces for existing mold products. For first-time orders or trial batches, the MOQ is negotiable. Custom mold projects have separate MOQ requirements depending on tooling investment.

Can I get samples before placing an order?

Yes. We provide free samples for existing models from our 12-product range. Shipping costs are typically borne by the customer. For custom designs, we can provide 3D-printed prototypes or small-batch injection-molded samples after mold development.

What are the packing specifications?

Products are packed with lids and containers separated. Standard packing is 1,000 pieces per carton (lids and containers in separate cartons). Each carton includes inner poly bags, separating layers, and outer corrugated boxes with full labeling.

Detailed carton dimensions, gross weight, and net weight are provided in each product specification sheet.

Which markets do you serve?

We serve customers worldwide, with primary markets in:

  • Europe — Scandinavia, Germany, UK, and wider EU
  • United States
  • Middle East — with HALAL certification support
  • Southeast Asia

Our compliance certifications (FDA, ISO, 16 CFR) are specifically designed to meet the regulatory requirements of these markets.
